The West Tarring branch of the Mother's Union meets in St Andrew's church monthly (usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening) as well as on some Tuesday afternoons. It is part of the Chichester Diocese Mother's Union and has particularly close links with the Eastbourne Family Contact Centre.
In March 2020 its work was highlighted nationally when, in conjunction with Worthing Hospital, members were featured on the BBC TV's Songs of Praise programme for Mothering Sunday.
